Robert F. Long, president and broker of Long & Associates, Inc. began his real estate career in 1973 as a commercial real estate broker in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Since that time, he has established himself as an expert in many aspects of real estate including development and construction of commercial and residential property, property management, finance, syndication, real estate exchanging and brokerage of commercial and residential properties.

Gold Nugget Grand Award "Best In The West" Long's homes have been the recipient of the Gold Nugget awards, the Merit and the Grand Gold Nugget Award. The Gold Nugget Awards program is the premiere event of the annual Pacific Coast Builders Conference - The Western Building Show. The oldest and largest program of its kind, Gold Nuggets honor creative achievements in architectural design and land use planning for residential, commercial and industrial projects. Entries come from 14 Western states and all countries bordering the Pacific Ocean. Gold Nugget winners share one common denominator: excellence and innovation in addressing complex design/build issues. The competition is sponsored by the PCBC-Western Building Show and BUILDER, a national magazine of the housing industry. Co-sponsors include major building product manufacturers, financial institutions, builders, architects and associates in the real estate field. The Gold Nugget Awards were born in 1963 at American Builder, a national magazine of the building industry. They were conceived expressly for PCBC, to recognize builder/developer excellence throughout the 14 Western states. Almost immediately, the Gold Nuggets became known as "Best In The West," an accurate description of their trend-setting qualities and geographic reach. Best in American Living Award Long's homes have been awarded the Best in American Living Award. Best in American Living Awards are the country's foremost design competition for residential housing. Entries are judged, not only on appearance, but also for interior floor plans, how the project relates to its own local market, and the construction techniques and materials used. |
